Hello everyone, this is Royce from the band Orchestrator. We are based out of Iowa, and I happened upon this forum and decided it would be a really good place to shamelessly plug our music. We are truly DIY, and would really appreciate any feedback anybody on here would be willing to give.

Orchestrator is five piece hardcore/grindcore/metal band based in Southeast Iowa. Formerly known as Infliction Of Need, Orchestrator has wowed audiences across the Midwest with their exciting live performances and technical musical prowess.

Originally called Infliction Of Need, the band was formed in the early 2000’s by Ben Robinson and Josh Sullivan. Since the band’s formation, there have been numerous line-up changes and even more changes stylistically.

Finally, after years of trials and tribulations, Orchestrator has come together as on solid unit to create music that pushes the boundaries of heavy music.

The band consists of:

Josh Sullivan - Guitar
Cody Haigh - Bass
Royce Kurth - Drums

We are currently in the process of recording our first full length, which should be released very soon. We will be sure to post some free download link to the members of this community. Our last.fm account has two demos available to listen to in full, but they are currently without vocals. We will be adding updated demo tracks very soon, but please give the tracks we have up a listen until then. Here are some videos to give everyone a slightly better idea of what we do.

Post-Ejaculatory Necrosis

I have this experimental, electronic project that I've been working on for a while and, whilst very raw, it never crossed all that much into the realms of the really extreme music stuff featured on sites like this. This track is fairly grindish though, so I figure it may interest some people on this site. Constructive feedback would be much appreciated.

Is it just me, or is it when peeps from out of the loop suddenly dawn upon or are introduced to grind, that they seem to categorize it as or jump to the conclusion that it's tough guy music? I tend to keep coming across this ignorant and naive lumpsumming reaction. But for the most part, also understanding those perspectives are usually coming from meathead metalcoreheads, poseur punks or hardcore kids. When they come across something more extreme, then it's enveloped into their atypical mindthink and synapses that it's just a faster, harsher and louder version of what they already incorporated into their plethora of what is tough and hardcore. Worse is when it affects their worthless attitudes and behaviors that they're suddenly tougher and badder, and don't get the clue that they're not wanted there. Jocks. Lemons. The Cartoon Platoon. Boring. Brainfart. I would rather grind my mind while gardening!
