What do you listen to besides extreme music?

I've noticed that besides Grind and the like, most extreme music fans like a lot of random genres of music and listen to it whenever they need to cool down or just want something different for their ears. Whenever I'm not Grinding away, I enjoy a lot of Japanese Pop, I can't get enough of it. What do you guys listen to when not listening to your extreme tunes? (No smartass lady gaga, ke$ha comments either)

a lot of different stuff.. Noise, post rock, pop/rock, punk +++

i listen to pretty much any kind of music but besides grindcore, mainly variations of punk. I listen to a bunch of southwest emo. And im really into folk punk. Plus i go to most of the hardcore, fastcore, and punk shows around here

That's rad, your local scene sounds pretty good. I would attend more shows around here, but most of these local bands are just watered-down metalcore/deathcore breakdown friendly bands.

Dude, for real. . . I do listen to Lady Gaga. It's not a joke. But besides that I like tons of stuff, Pretty much any rock from the 1950's - 1990's. Jazz, Blues, Folk, anything with harmonica. Classical music. Oh yeah 80's pop music too.

Nothing beats 80's pop, I grew up listening to it. However, I also grew up listening to Streisand thanks to my Jewish mother, and I'm pretty sure this is what pushed me towards the direction of Grindcore.

I got some of her records on vinyl! LOL But I have something from every genre on vinyl. I usually salvage stuff from thrift stores.

No but seriously.. My sister wants me to take her to se lady gaga (since she isnt old enough herself), so I guess i'll have to go ... Its catchy and all that, but i doubt that i'll enjoy seeing it live.. Maybe if I get drunk enough `?

mostly 80's psych rock, british and synth pop, 90's alt/rock, and really really bad radio rock/pop.

i have extremely varied tastes (which is part of why i'm a music journalist), though. i listen to pretty much anything other than polka, latin, pop standards, musicals, and a few other genres.

Aww come on dude some Polka tears shit up! And musicals are cool too, I got Grease and Rocky Horror Picture Show on vinyl too! HAHAHA
