| RE: what are some good bands in your hoods ? Not too much goin' on in NY when it comes to grind, at least as far as I know... plenty of "New York Death Metal", though. Iron Butter Defeatist The Communion Spoonful of Vicodin (more power violence and a little north, but they still count in my book) Buckshot Facelift and of course... Brutal Truth | |||

| RE: what are some good bands in your hoods ? Buckshot Facelift is still around ? Brutal Truth lol. Seriously like the worst representation of grind in my opinion is Brutal Truth. I saw them last summer, just all around weak preformance cant see what the hype is about it. I've seen them live several times but it's not really my thing. I'm pretty sure they're playing ANOTHER show out here with Chainsaw to the Face on March 6th. And I completely agree with you about Brutal Truth. Seeing them once was enough... "Walking Corpse", "Stench of Profit", OK, I'm good... the other 7-10 times was just something to do while you get wasted. | |||

| RE: what are some good bands in your hoods ? I live in a small town so there's no bands here, only redneck bullshit and lots of woods. We don't even have any venues to play shows, I gotta travel almost two hours just see decent bands when they tour. If you came here to talk about napalm death, nasum, rotten sound, any other crappy ass death metal band/technical death metal posing as grindcore, we will clash. | |||
