- techy grindcore from germany on blastasfuk. they were described as discordance axis meets anaal nathrakh when their MCD was out, but i don't really hear much AN in their sound now.

i can't think of anymore at the moment, except maybe the latest sayyadina and that came out like three years ago or something. there's been some awesome stuff coming out of spain recently, but i think i posted about it on here the last time this was up. i will say, though, that the new machetazo is sick. also, the remaster of cripple bastard's first album is 1000x better than the original. anyhow, i've pretty much lost touch with new bands and releases and most of what's out now that i've heard of has been super-techy and i hate most of that stuff except for the bands i mentioned in this thread.

terrorizer and birdflesh are fucking sick. terrorizer might have been the greatest grindcore band of all time, as long as you ignore their reunion album.

I love both of them. mumakil and fukpig* were actually recommended to me, fukpig was alright. mumakil was pretty awesome grind. Not too much is happening this year It seems like even numbered years are when grindcore bands seem to put out a lot of stuff...like last year new releases from Agathocles and Crippled Bastards, next year gridlinks next album is being dropped...
