Grinders in the Real World

Okay so its no secret that most Grind freaks are different to say the least... but how do you cope with normal everyday society? How do you function with "normal" people? and how do people react to your musical tastes?

I pretty much think I am as normal or weird as the next fuckhead.
The one thing that makes me different to your average joe is I hate people and would rather not talk to them in general

I would say that my life is relatively normal, people tend not to hold my choice of music against me.

Yeah I hate most people too, I guess its just because most of them are exactly the same or are completely fucking retarded. Things are different though, as in the Czech Republic people were more close minded to things and here in the states people are dumber but a bit more open minded and I like it, so I'm still adapting.

they hate it. my friends, my coworkers, my parents. they all think its talentless garbage. and forget about dating, girls around here HATE grind. low cost of living here, but its too expensive to live anywhere else. I'm trapped.

Nobody really bothers me, but everyone rips on me and they think grind is just absolute shit. So I tend not to discuss music with people I know. And to be honest, I don't really think i'm weird, but people probably think I am because of the way I dress and shit. Fuck knows

I think socially I am pretty normal as well. My parents don't really hate it but think its just "heavy metal" and just don't want to hear it themselves. I have a handful of friends here that are into Grindcore and Crust and Powerviolence stuff so its pretty neat, but the majority of people I come across just think I'm a "metal head" or "heavy punker"... funny thing is, I look pretty damn normal too. Thankfully I have a loving girlfriend that doesn't mind me playing grind 24/7 and actually enjoys it time to time.
