What are some of your favorite Goregrind bands of all time and some recent ones you've been listening to?

My favorite classic Goregrind bands would have to be:

Last Days of Humanity
Dead Infection
Autophagia
Regurgitate
Exulceration

These are some of my favorite Goregrind bands of today:

Biological Monstrosity
Blue Holocaust
Methadone Abortion Clinic
Brown Filled Human Race
Led To Extinction
Super Fun Happy Slide
Die Pigeon Die
Tu Carne

What are some of your favorite Goregrind/Porngore bands?

Not really a huge fan of this subgenre either.

If you came here to talk about napalm death, nasum, rotten sound, any other crappy ass death metal band/technical death metal posing as grindcore, we will clash.

It started as a joke, about lyrical content. and it evolved into a poseur genre. Most goregrind bands sound a lot more like shitty death metal than grind.

Actually, it was not started as a joke. Carcass (A great and legendary band of course), began Goregrind's legacy with the legendary album, "Symphonies of Sickness", so it was not a joke, it was completely intentional and planned. I'm not sure what kind of "Goregrind" bands you've been listening to... I can't change your mind about the genre but if you listen to the right bands, you will clearly see that Goregrind IS in fact Grind and not gay Brutal Death Metal.

RE: Favorite Goregrind bands?
Goregrind started out alright, just like any genre of grind always does. There were great acts such as Carcass, LDOH, The County Medical Examiners, Dead Infection, Exhumed, General Surgery, Impetigo, etc. The problem here in lies that in it's progression and I use that term very loosely. It's more like a digression, because the drum machine really shit on this subgenre hard. Not only that porngrind is a spin off of this sub-genre too. So they've almost become synonymous. And in the late 90's and early 00's it seemed like any asshole that had a drum machine or drum program on the computer was starting one man goregrind bands. This also put a damper on the subgenre when it comes to old school grinders. So what started out as ultra taboo, wicked, and almost insane, has been watered down into generic, boring, and ultimately shitty. That's my take on goregrind.

I completely understand where you're coming from. I respect classic Goregrind bands, and I DO see what you mean about the vast amount of gay Goregrind bands out there... However, of course there are some good ones. You'd be surprised by the amount of diversity and originality some of these modern Goregrind bands possess. I respect your opinion though, as you seem to have the only rational explanation so far.

I agree there are a couple of newer awesome goregrind bands, both that use a drum machine and don't use one.

This German band Satan´s Revenge On Mankind is probably my favorite current gore-grind band. It has more of a punk vibe to it, I think so anyway. If you haven't checke dthem out yet, I recommend them.
