Drug consumption

I was wondering, do any of the people who post on here partake in the use of drugs? Or are you guys straight edge, like a lot of extreme bands? It's interesting to see peoples opinion

I've done alot of drugs but nowadays I stick to alcohol if that. Shit gets old, not to mention its fucked me up as a result. I've seen a lot of horrible things happen first hand because of that stuff, too many people become lost because of it. Its a choice though, do whatever makes you happy I suppose.

I'm basically totally straight edge in respect to this.
No drugs, booze or fags.

I've been that way for 10 years, and that was before I had even heard to term 'straight edge', I don't really subscribe to it as a set of principles. I'm libertarian and think it's up to each individual to decide what way they are going to fuck up their lives

Ditto to the liberal views Luke Oram, me personally I don't take drugs having seen what it has done to my once good friends I think it to be a fools game, however I do spend a lot of time/money drinking and smoking so perhaps I also am the fool?
The only drug that I personally wouldn't even classify as a drug is weed, I dont take it but have on a few occasions tried it, and think that with weed if you are sensible with it, don't take the ridiculously strong stuff, or too often it can be a very nice recreational activity, although not for all.

I've smoked a few years of weed in my life (meaning I smoked atleast a few times that day). Had some intense paranoia from weed before but it was always stemmed by being a paranoid person anyway. Been taking up drinking lately and it's been all good, just don't wanna do it every single day or it fucks my pisser up. I like to think the band name THC Eradicus looks at it in both ways, one half of me really loves weed the other half feels I shouldn't be using it at all. When I get going though I become a fiend I tell ya.

I believe that there's a saying about filling your mind before expanding it. It's probably wise advice, especially since it is always the stupid people who ruin everything fun for everybody else.

There's plenty of websites to give a heads up on the various traps of taking different substances and I recommend reading rather well before considering some of the potentially more hazardous substances. If nothing else being prepared for experiences that you've never had before can certainly help when you're around people who are also first timers and are 'losing it'.

I'm mostly only interested in psychedelics, I've done weed, acid and shrooms and would recommend all of them, depending on circumstances.

Personally, I smoke weed often, drink often. But I don't think it's bad, in a lot of ways I think my life would be more boring if I didn't. But i've lost friends to the harder stuff, had bands break up over it, kicked out flatmates for dealing it etc... Have dabbled in psychadelics, mushrooms grow in the valleys near where I live so it's not hard to come by really. A lot of good music has come from drug addicted brains too.
