RE: Do you know the Grindcore band from South East Asian Country ? (02-10-2011 02:40 AM)Failure Trace Wrote: : http://grindcore.com/Thread-do-you-know-the-grindcore-band-from-south-east-asian-country?pid=9899#pid9899 Man I was and still am really big into Japanese Metal, punk, hardcore, noise, grind, etc. It's literally amazing to me how they took these genres to new bounds to me. A ton of energy. As far as South East Asian grind and stuff goes: Projekbabi, Indonesia - I dunno, I think this is one dude in his bedroom playing every instrument. Not a drum machine! Sloppy, fast, and furious, total Disclose worship. But it kicks so much fucking ass. Has two demos he sent me in an e-mail from 2009 and 2010. They'll be posted on my blog soon. Bangsat, Indonesia - Only heard the demo. I'm not sure if they released anything else. The demo is good, although you have to blast the volume on that shit. More punk based grind than metal, more leaning towards powerviolence, good shit none the less. Rajasinga, Indonesia - Only heard 2008's Pandora, These dudes totally remind me of a Indonesian Birdflesh. Metal based grindcore. A little on the slower side, but still good stuff. On last.fm people tagged this band with "what god has on his ipod" I don't know if they released anything else other than this though. Even has a song about Richard Ramirez. Mass Separation, Malaysia - Man these dudes fucking discography is legendary in my humble opinion. But everyone pretty much knows them for the Tak Mau Lagi EP. If you ever get a chance to snag any of their stuff don't be a vagina and do it. Parkinson, Malaysia - Straight up punk based grindcore. No bullshit. Excellent band. Torture Incident, Indonesia - Man, I've only listened to "The deadly Efficiency of Napalm" talk about getting your fucking mind grinded. In 2002 this was in the top 5 albums to be released that year. Never listened to anything else by them, still to this day getting over 2002. GI & The Idiots, Philippines - As far as I know this band has two releases to vanish in the wave of shitty 90's pop punk that emerged in the United States never to be hea....UNTIL . . .the amazing internet. Their 1986 release "Fascinating World of Garbage" where as it's not grindcore, still is amazing to this day. Noisy and fast. As far as I'm concerned, if you like punk in any form, this album is an absolute mandatory LP for the collection. Fallen World, Singapore - Ha ha, the drummer Seelan used to post here once upon a time. But I trolled him so bad that he gave up on this place. It's a shame that poor lad couldn't take a joke, anyway. This fucking bands been around for like a decade, and only seen the same 8 mp3s floating around. At this point I don't even know if they released anything EVER. The mp3s are good though. Also some of the other stuff you mentioned: Wormrot, Proletar, Magnitizdat, SMG, Summer Suicide, Failure Trace, and Compulsion To Kill are all awesome too. As far as these goregrind bands go. BLAH. That shit is so played out. Man that shit was fun to listen to when I was like 13. It's lost its novelty to me. That shit isn't ULTRA BR000TUHL. At this point in life singing about that shit makes you look like a drunken, retarded, virgin. It would be ultra br00tuhl if they sang about my little ponies for an entire album rather than rape, disfigurement, and gore. I know half the forum will read this last part and go "MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN I'M NOT A VIRGIN BRAH, I'M JUST DRUNKENLY RETARDED" and shit a brick about this last paragraph, but I don't give a fuck. If you came here to talk about napalm death, nasum, rotten sound, any other crappy ass death metal band/technical death metal posing as grindcore, we will clash.

| RE: Do you know the Grindcore band from South East Asian Country ? To 'douchebag' Really thanks for the opinion. Yes Japanese hardcore is unique cos they're multi-pase, have melodies and more into punk, not crust as i work in my band's ex-japanese members. I'm with their their senses and emotions along days. also still keep some of Japanese Hardcore Commitment in the band, like a drift in the tracks, not just go with straight forward song, passions, energy and endeavourness. But i'm more into American Hardcore & Powerviolence and Grind (simple cliche as American prefer Japcore, Asians prefer Euro or US Hardcore/Grind. cos we're with it used to it.) As far as your experience upon South East Asian grind and stuff goes: I don't know 'Projekbabi' from indo, yes ever heard about Bangsat, Raja Singha, Extreme Decay, but Proletar is really closed to us also the new wave like 'Onset of Serious Problems' is nice bands which they've just released a split with Lowfat (our band Ex-Japanese guitarist and co-Band pioneer's band, his name is Sano) http://www.myspace.com/oospgrind The band i can't forget is Femau. Just like Birdflesh. Awesome Party Punk/Grind. http://www.myspace.com/femaupunk Yes, Mass saparation and Torture Incident are old school Malaysian kings (not indo), no doubts. Parkinson is quite famous in underground but i have really fair idea about their movement. GI & The Idiots. I must say i don't know this guys but will check them out. About Philippine, as far Killer band is Rust Phantom. They are Tech Death/Grind, very talented. http://www.myspace.com/rustphantomgrindfuck About Fallen World, My favourite band. Selan is good guy but very to the point and he's got not much or always with sense of humour in active or even response. Best honored playing with them through our Singapore tour. Wormrot, don't have to say much. they're new grind excitement right now. Magnitizdat, SMG, Summer Suicide, Compulsion To Kill, and even my band is scene important jigsaw to run the one's own local scene. Finally Gore Grind Porn Grind, Mince-core or what ever are the choices of whom into that stuffs. for me i'm feminist and against violence and human exploitation, manipulation, and trafficking. but my most of friends bands or locally play female torturing rape fantasy. (what could we do) But whenever if they are into actual commitment beyond fantasy, then i will cut off the connection. well what ever japcore, US-core Euro-core, Hell-core, Heaven-core, Gore or Porn. get into it, real commitment, real works, not just releasing year by year new full-length, and repeating same old tune by just changing tracks and album title. Persisting in the scene by band's life times and name. More hell than that is a full form copy, i mean 'copy' Asians do copy Western bands. lots of Euro and US bands do also copy Japanese bands. cos their scene are strong, their band has uniqueness by creating own flavours. So another scene or country also should hads each others making scene stronger, not just splitting a aparts and rivaling each others 'fuck you' i mean in Thailand that already have tiny extreme music movement but bigger discrimination. lets proceed later, thanks for everyone. About Japanese bands i know every bands really thanks and be grateful for the suggestion. Heres is the topic about South East Asian Country scene like, 1. Cambodia 2. Indonesia 3. Laos 4. Malaysia 5. Philippines 6. Singapore 7. Thailand 8. Vietnam Japan is in East Asia and their have world level scene. I'd played with Hydro Phobia and they're kick ass band, even played with Defiled, genius guys. I've thick Japanese influence in my blood by having two Japanese members in my band life span i'm just focusing on South East Asian Country., so please be concentrate. Thanks everyone again | |||

Along with the internet it has been the greatest asset for most people to find music world wide. I probably know such a small amount of bands from SE Asian countries. For instance, I have never heard of any bands from Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, or Vietnam, if there are some kick ass bands from there let me know. I'd be highly interested in hearing it. Was he an ass or just, you know, for kicks? He's a little on the ultra politically correct side of the fence. I don't have a problem with that persay, at the time I was heavily drinking, so I just would type any crazy shit to people. I think that is what made people mad is me and a few other people would just do whatever and the admin wouldn't ban me. Anyway, I really do enjoy Fallen World, wish the guy would come back and post here. He knows his stuff and he isn't really a fan of gore and porn grind either which is a plus in my eyes. If you came here to talk about napalm death, nasum, rotten sound, any other crappy ass death metal band/technical death metal posing as grindcore, we will clash.
